As a Kitchen Porter you play a key back of house role supporting the kitchen staff in food prep, kitchen hygiene and clearing down after service. Ideally you will have experience working as a KP, or have some professional kitchen experience in the past. We are looking to recruit part-time members of staff for the TIKKA NATION food outlet inside the student union building of Leeds University. APPLICANTS MUST BE FLUENT IN ENGLISH AND HINDI. The shifts are Monday to Friday, from 11am until 3pm. You MUST be able to work a minimum of 2 fixed shifts each week in the lunchtime time slot. There may be some weekend shifts and also some extra hours during the week, as required.  Candidates should have worked in a similar fast-food environment and be experienced in both back of house food preparation and front of house customer service. The role will also include cleaning, pot-wash and tidying. A commitment to work shifts during exam and other busy study periods is a requirement of all staff at TIKKA NATION.  The position will commence in early September and will end in June, 2025.
