We are currently looking for students who are able to support the University’s Admissions Office activities over Confirmation & Clearing. This is to help us on A-level Results Day and on some days of the period before and after (19th July, then various dates between 18th August – 26th August).   Last year’s helpers told us how much they enjoyed talking to applicants on their results day and helping them make choices about their university career. The rate of pay is £9.53 per hour.  This paid role involves: An early start on the main results day Talking to potential students over the telephone and updating details online Quickly identifying caller needs through conversation fact finding Accurately inputting records of telephone calls using an online form Being flexible with regard to the variety and nature of tasks you are asked to do Ideally you would be willing and able to come on campus to work in a call-centre for all or some of these working days,...
