IberiaTeacher is an employment programme we set up to give anyone who wants to try teaching English practical teaching experience within a supported environment. Placements are based in Seville and Lisbon, last 90 days and all expenses are paid: flights, accommodation, bills, language lessons, travel insurance, 24/7 in country support, preparation training, 120 Euros per week for food and local travel. Participants must be mostly UK based and kind, committed and curious. (Spanish or Portuguese language skills are not required). The programme gives you a chance to try out and develop your skills with a group of peers of mixed ages - and learn from each other. Are you a positive, friendly and engaging student with excellent communication skills?  If this sounds like you, we would love to have you as a student ambassador for our upcoming Open Days on Saturday 10 September and Saturday 8 October.  This is a paid opportunity for current University of Leeds students only.   We are looking for positive, engaging and friendly students, across all courses and levels, with excellent communication skills. Duties may include staffing information points, providing information and directing visitors around campus, working off-campus directing visitors to the open day and working in the halls of residences. Please note, as these are undergraduate events, priority will be given to undergraduate student applications. The rate of pay is £9.53 per hour (plus holiday pay).
