We are looking for Advanced Support Workers to join us in Knottingley, Wakefield. You will provide Trauma informed person centred support to empower adults with  learning disabilities and/or autism . These individuals may display behaviours that challenge and have complex needs. You will support them to live a  fulfilled and independent life back into the community . As part of your role you will work alongside our dedicated  Therapeutic Support Team,  who will support you through weekly team meetings, during which time you can reflect on the person centred support being provided and have an active input in the person we supports support plans. You will receive training around autism, risk, trauma, trauma informed support and positive behavioural support. We will also support you to gain your essential skills certificate. This position is for a Trainee Solicitor in Joelson’s busy London office. The successful candidate will build on their existing legal knowledge by gaining an understanding of the practical implications of the law. They will also develop their legal skills, commercial and financial awareness, negotiation skills, drafting, advocacy, and client care skills. Our Training Principal, Daniel Swimer, will have overall responsibility for the training and will act as a guide and mentor throughout the two-year contract. In each seat there will also be a designated Supervisor, to oversee the Trainee Solicitor’s day-to-day work and provide support as necessary. In addition, the Trainee Solicitor will have a personal mentor for the duration of the contract, who will be a solicitor with several years’ post-qualification experience.
