Interested in outdoor pursuits/activities and passionate to share your knowledge ? We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has an interest in the outdoors to support the lead group support worker with the planning and delivery of outdoor pursuits programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and empowering members to take part in all scheduled outdoor activities as independently as possible using a person-centered approach and ensuring member safety is paramount. Please note, this vacancy is a job share, providing support bi-weekly to the group.  The Outdoor Pursuits Group is a popular and large group that runs each Sunday. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and patient graduate to work within our boarding community at White Lodge.  Our Resident Graduate Assistants support in both the boarding and day to day academic support of our male and female students in Senior House (Years 9 to 11) or Junior House (Years 7 and 8), ensuring that students have a secure and supportive ‘home from home’ during term time. They will also have a timetable acting as a classroom assistant or supporting students on a one-to-one basis. These are residential roles and accommodation is provided in our Boarding House.  Suitable training and ongoing support will be provided on an ongoing basis which is vital in the early days of the role.
