IberiaTeacher is an employment programme we set up to give anyone who wants to try teaching English practical teaching experience within a supported environment. Placements are based in Seville and Lisbon, last 90 days and all expenses are paid: flights, accommodation, bills, language lessons, travel insurance, 24/7 in country support, preparation training, 120 Euros per week for food and local travel. Participants must be mostly UK based and kind, committed and curious. (Spanish or Portuguese language skills are not required). The programme gives you a chance to try out and develop your skills with a group of peers of mixed ages - and learn from each other. We are looking for Advanced Support Workers to join us in Knottingley, Wakefield. You will provide Trauma informed person centred support to empower adults with  learning disabilities and/or autism . These individuals may display behaviours that challenge and have complex needs. You will support them to live a  fulfilled and independent life back into the community . As part of your role you will work alongside our dedicated  Therapeutic Support Team,  who will support you through weekly team meetings, during which time you can reflect on the person centred support being provided and have an active input in the person we supports support plans. You will receive training around autism, risk, trauma, trauma informed support and positive behavioural support. We will also support you to gain your essential skills certificate.
