Find out more about Leeds University Union at www.luu.org.uk or follow us on Twitter @LeedsUniUnion.

The Leave Leeds Tidy campaign is in its 11th year and has grown stronger each year. To date, we have collected over 138 tonnes of donations from students, of which every item has gone to good causes across the city of Leeds.

This role will involve working with a range of people in the local area and with our partner charities to make Leeds a better place for everyone to live.  It will be a great opportunity for you to develop skills in communication and team work.

In the Community team we work passionately to deliver projects that support students to live in a safe, friendly and clean environment.  We are looking for like-minded people to take on this project and make it the best it can be.  We are constantly developing this project, so you will need to be flexible and willing to change your approach, depending on the needs of the project.  As it is a practical role, you will be required to work outside for the majority of your hours; we’re looking for people who love being outside and talking to anyone they come across.

In your application, please explain how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the team here at LUU.
