Part time & Casual Arts (Music, Art, Dance) Catering, Hospitality, Events & Stewarding Customer Service Vacation and Summer Jobs

Job Description/Duties

Alliance Events is an independent event management and staffing company, established by Loughborough University graduates who specialise in working with hard working, positive and energetic university students from some of the UK’s top events.

We understand that students need flexible work around their studies, and that is why you can work as little or as much as you want.

With over 50 events on our books including Leeds, Boomtown and Latitude Festival, you can work an entire summer with us and make a killing, or work the odd event and earn a little spare cash.

We offer roles in Security and Stewarding and pay between £7.38 and £10 per hour depending on your role and experience. You could earn more than £8,000 during the summer!

Benefits of working with us:

  • Flexible work around your studies
  • Get paid to work at events and festivals
  • Work with other like-minded students and join the ‘Alliance Family’
  • Your welfare is our priority
  • Get full access to the events when you are not on shift
  • We cannot promise you won’t get wet, cold or tired, but we can promise the ‘Alliance Experience’, where everyone feels valued and we all work hard and have a good laugh doing it. Our view is that a happy team is an effective team!

How it works:

  1. Sign up - Before we give you access to our event calendar, we need you to sign up and complete your profile. Follow the link here to register. Once you have registered, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address and from there you should complete as much of your profile as possible. This takes around 15 minutes and it is a requirement for you to upload a copy of your passport and complete a basic DBS check if you do not hold one already or you hold an SIA license. This is to ensure you are able to work and that we are able to pay you. You will also receive important documents and training for you to complete in order to ensure you understand your role (this will all be available electronically).

  1. Choose your events - When you have completed your profile, you will be able to view our event calendar by signing in on the events portal, under the apply tab. You can pick and choose the events you are interested in working for and will receive an email confirming you have applied and another confirming you have been accepted. We are always adding new events and you will be sent an email when this occurs, so you can log on and browse before they get booked up.

  1. See you there! - Once you are booked onto an event, you will be sent details of the event approximately 1-2 weeks in advance including a brief outline of the event, accommodation/facilities (usually camping with toilets and showers) and transport arrangements (usually consisting of a car share). If you have your own driving licence and vehicle, please let us know.
