Job Description/Duties

We have a new opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our team based in Pool-in-Wharfedale, Leeds. 

We pay a competitive basic salary, in addition to a quarterly bonus based on personal performance and annual bonus paying up to 7% of annual salary based on company profitability.

For this role we are looking for a highly self-motivated individual who is determined to achieve results. You will ideally have some experience working within a business development role, and experience in B2B sales is desirable.

You will be confident and have the ability to hunt for new business via making phone calls, targeted social media and email. You will have exceptional communication skills and will be able to thrive in a target driven role.

Naturally, you will have charisma and tenacity to be successful within the role, but you must also want to progress within the business. We have a full training and development plan to support you to become a master at your craft.

Main duties and responsibilities

Your main duties will be to create relationships with potential customers of Lead Tech. You will do this through various channels, but you should be confident in making outbound telephone calls and emails to potential customers.

Your role will be to research companies effectively and proactively build a network of potential partners that are suited to working with Lead Tech. You will be tasked with the number of appointments you book and the number of prospects that convert to business.

You will work very closely with a business development manager who will show you the ropes and work with you on those tricky prospects. You will also have a full training plan in place so that you have the skills to rise through the ranks here at Lead Tech to become a business development manager.
