Leeds Internship Programme

Job Title:                                Content Executive

Start Date:                              Immediate – to be undertaken part time around your studies (hours to be confirmed between you and the employer) or, if you are a graduate, immediate start and full time hours

Length of Placement:           The equivalent of at least 10 weeks part time

Organisation and role outline

SHIFT Marketplace exists to help consumer brands of all sizes achieve growth on global marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay.

Launched in late 2019 by Tom Bagnall, Steve Berke and ex Epiphany owner Shane Quigley they have made quick strides in growth and now have 20 clients and 8 members of staff. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to join an entrepreneurial and supportive team working with some of the most exciting challenger brands in the UK and established heritage brands.

We manage every aspect of the day-to-day marketplace trading of our client accounts. From ongoing product optimisation, management of ad campaigns and regular updates of store and content designs, through to operational activities such as inventory planning and account health monitoring.

We are recruiting for a content executive to support our team in creating world class Amazon content for our clients.

Primary duties:

  • Writing high quality, optimised copy for product listing titles, bullet points and descriptions
  • Keyword research to support Amazon SEO efforts
  • Support wider team in creation of A+ Content and Amazon Stores

Person Specification


  • University of Leeds current student of any year and any degree discipline or 2020 graduate
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven ability to write fluent and well-structured copy
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
  • Entrepreneurial spark


  • Photoshop experience; creating banners, resizing images etc would be beneficial

Salary:            £300 per week pro rata
