As a HR Student Assistant, you will work alongside your studies and play a pivotal role in shaping our HR function, making a real impact on our organisation.

Joblink are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a global FMCG business based in Leeds.

THE EMPLOYER

As an HR Student Assistant, your contributions will be instrumental in supporting various HR initiatives within the business. You will report to the Employee Relations Manager and be supported by the Employee Relations Advisors and your work will directly contribute to the success of our recognition scheme, mentorship program, and employee promise agenda. Additionally, you will be involved in HR administration tasks, taking notes during meetings and assisting with ad-hoc project work.

Key Duties:

  • Assisting our recognition scheme to ensure employees are acknowledged and appreciated for their contributions.
  • Supporting the mentorship scheme by coordinating activities and facilitating communication between mentors and mentees.
  • Working on our employee promise agenda, helping to create a positive work environment and enhancing employee experience.
  • Providing general HR administrative support, such as maintaining employee records and assisting with onboarding processes.
  • Taking accurate notes during HR meetings and assisting with the preparation of meeting materials.
  • Taking part in ad-hoc HR projects as required, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow in various areas of HR.

You will need:

  •             You must be a current student, enrolled in any degree program.
    • While studying a HR-related degree would be ideal, it is not essential. We value a passion for HR and a willingness to learn.
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Relevant courses

HR or related preferably. All courses considered.

Where, when and pay?

Hybrid  - Remote and in Office - In office days Mon, Tues or Weds preferably (10 min bus ride from Leeds city centre)

Part-time - up to 16 hours per week throughout the year (flexible around study commitments)

Start date: March 2025

Duration: Up to 12 months (University Student)

Pay: £11.44/hr
