To take care of all needs of Sid who is 13 years old. Sid has Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism. The role is to enable his parents to have respite on a weekend (start times are negotiable between employer and employee).
He will need assisting with his personal hygiene mainly changing of his nappies, encouraging him to wash his hands and also encouraging him to use the toilet.
You will be mainly working in Sid’s home as he doesn’t like to leave the house but would like to encourage him as much as possible to try get him to play outside in the garden. Sid’s interests are mainly his computer and his kindle but he loves anything to do with the queen, houses of parliament and doors and lifts, Roblox and Youtube.
Sid’s difficulties are listening to instructions and following them. He does not like the noise of the microwave, washing machine, pans boiling, vacuum cleaner or putting on the TV.
