Rugby League Analyst

Oval Insights Ltd are looking for Rugby League Analysts to join the team at the data collection centre in Leeds. The job will entail collecting performance data on top level rugby league matches. Work will predominantly be on Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Mondays.

Rugby League season runs from February to October, you will need to be available to work during this period.

Essential Skills are

• An excellent knowledge of Rugby League including the laws of the game, current teams and players, tactics and game plans, TV and digital media presentation of the sport, etc
• Good IT skills in areas such as spreadsheets, databases, audio and video software.
• Ability to work and communicate as part of a team.
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Capacity to concentrate for long periods and excellent attention to detail.

In addition any of the following would be an advantage

• Coaching or refereeing qualifications in Rugby Union.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in sport or technology related subject.
• Experience of sports video analysis software.
