Leeds University Union is a charity that helps over 38,000 students love their time at Leeds. Located at the heart of campus, the Union is a space to meet people, make new friends and get involved.

Find out more about Leeds University Union at www.luu.org.uk or follow us on Twitter @LeedsUniUnion.

We are looking for someone who can build relations across the University and develop new networks. You will support the development of projects which take our student engagement work out of the student union building. You will work across campus on new initiatives to deliver our programme of activity in new ways. All part of our new and ambitious strategy to put LUU at the heart of Enriching Academic Life at Leeds.

You must be able to work as part of a team to train, inspire and support our members to take an active role in shaping their learning experience at Leeds.

You will work to support student representatives across the campus. This takes the student through the ‘representative journey’ from becoming involved at the level of their course, through to decision making at Faculty and University level. You will work with a wide range of students via departmental student societies, from Accounting to Zoology.

Your enthusiasm combined with your ability to communicate effectively with students, members of staff and external bodies will be key to your success. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in an innovative and dynamic not for profit organisation.

In your application, please explain how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the team here at LUU.

We offer 26 days’ holiday (plus generous statutory and customary closure days) and a pension scheme.

To apply, please visit our website using the link provided.

Please note that we do not accept CVs.

If you haven't heard from us within four weeks of the closing date then, unfortunately, you haven't been successful on this occasion.

Interviews:  w/c 12 August 2019
