Digi is a not-for-profit digital marketing micro-agency. Created through a collaboration between Leeds University Union and digital marketing agency Epiphany, it aims to redefine graduate recruitment, cutting across charities, university, and the digital sector. Digi offers its employees and a network of student volunteers the opportunity to upskill, lead and collaborate in digital marketing. This is a unique chance to gain entrepreneurial experience running a micro-agency, to help you bridge the gap between your education and the start of your career.

Now in its second year, LUU and Epiphany will recruit two graduates to the roles of Digital Agency Associates.

As one of these two associates you will have the opportunity to complete a 12 month fixed term contract in one of the most innovative digital marketing schemes available in the UK. You will develop your own skills in digital marketing, while establishing and supporting a vibrant team of student volunteers. You will improve your own digital marketing expertise, create innovative engagement solutions for students, LUU, and external clients, and generate work for Digi.

As a Digital Agency Associate you will gain experience in an extensive number of disciplines within digital marketing through training delivered by industry leading experts at Epiphany. Potential disciplines could include but are not limited to search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) display advertising, conversion rate optimisation (CRO), account management, copywriting, public relations (PR) and earned media and project management. You will get an opportunity to work on real-life projects which will test your skills across all aspects of digital marketing with expert guidance, training and support from Leeds University Union and Epiphany. This opportunity is not just for digital marketers, but those with an entrepreneurial edge who want experience running a small agency with the support of two leading organisations in their respective fields.

In addition, access to business mentors and a board of trustees with many years digital marketing experience under their belts will ensure your career gets off to its best possible start.

By the end of your year you will have evidence of day to day management of a ‘micro agency’, building and managing an enviable network of leading digital experts. You will also have entrenched Digi’s brand, and executed and measured a multi-channel digital campaign.

In your application, please explain how you meet the person specification and what you can bring to the team here at LUU.
