Joblink is a student focused Job centre, recruitment agency and employability events planner for the students of Leeds. Joblink’s main focus is to provide paid employment opportunities to current students and recent graduates.

As a recruitment assistant you will support the Joblink manager in ensuring a high level of service is provided to our clients and workers. No two days are ever the same in Joblink; certain times in the year can be very demanding but, at the same time, the role is very rewarding.

Duties include:

  • Assisting with resourcing of vacancies and overseeing the shortlisting, interviewing & selection process.
  • Maintaining accurate compliance at all time relating to data and employment legislation.
  • Recruitment administration (registering applicants, setting up bookings, writing job adverts, document checking).
  • Effective use of the Joblink social media accounts for the purpose of promoting vacancies and applicant attraction.
  • Approving and Posting vacancies on our student job site.
  • Assisting in organising job fairs and other job related events.
  • Account coordination – being key point of contact for our clients.
  • Working towards targets to assist with the development of Joblink.

To be successful in this role you will need to be highly organised with the ability to multi-task, whilst providing a high level of customer service. You will have strong administrative and database management skills, and be able to demonstrate knowledge of social media for marketing/business use.
