Summer is our peak operational period as a business and therefore we are recruiting a Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis from 3rd June 2019 to 23rd August 2019. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be required to work five days a week Monday to Friday.Your duties will include:
·Ensure all invoices, expense claims and other payment requests are accurately and promptly processed.
·Process high volume of invoices and credit card payments into Xero, ensuring authorising procedures are followed and all data is accurately inputted.
·Reconciling petty cash for six summer school sites.
·Scan, archive and dispose of financial documents as directed by the Financial Controller.
·Assist with stock management.
·Other duties as required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
·Minimum one year experience within a similar role.
·Good communication and IT skills are essential.
·Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
·Well organised with ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
·High attention to detail with excellent data input accuracy.
·Applicants are required to hold the relevant visas/work permits.
·Driving license would be desirable.
·Degree qualified studying towards professional qualifications ie AAT/ACCA/CIMA would be desirable, but not essential.
