This is a temporary role within the university starting at the end of June for 1 month.
To act as a first point of contact for alumni queries by phone, email, social media, or face-to-face (drop-in) enquiries and alumni visits
To follow up specific alumni enquiries and requests from telephone campaigns, magazine responses or ad hoc enquiries
To provide administrative support for the Head of Alumni Engagement, including management of diary, emails and correspondence (eg congratulations letters)
Administrative and logistical support for Alumni Engagement and wider Alumni and Development activity
Co-ordination of meetings and visits, including room bookings, co-ordinating diaries and minute-taking as needed
To update alumni information and run queries on the alumni database as required
To meet visitors and give campus tours as required.
Please note: Due to the volume of applications we receive we are unable to get back to
everybody. If you don't receive a response within 6 weeks assume you have been
unsuccessful for this role. As this is a temporary role, there is no set deadline, the role
will be filled when a suitable candidate is found.
