Humpit is a fully vegan restaurant serving a whole range of hummusy based treats.

We started with a love for hummus but we couldn’t find anywhere to eat it in a traditional style, in a bowl with a fresh warm pita on the side to rip & dip. So in the summer of 2014, with a load of innocence and passion, a borrowed gazebo and a small fryer from Argos, we set out around the streets and parks of Leeds and people started to fall in love with Humpit.

In 2017 students of Leeds voted Humpit as the food company they most wanted to see within the new food court to be opened inside the union building. We got a call and had agreed everything within a few days. Freshers’ week 2017 was our busiest week ever at Humpit and we just love all of our amazing students (and uni staff of course!).
