Located in the heart of the Leeds town centre, Little Tokyo is one of the first Japanese restaurants established in West Yorkshire. As an independent and family run business, we offer Japanese style cuisine with a Yorkshire twist, all our sauces, sushi and gelatos are made on the premises to ensure the unique flavours, freshness and quality. Job Description/Duties:

Little Tokyo is a spacious and stylish Japanese restaurant located in the town centre of Leeds (post code: LS1 6DE; behind the House of Frasor). Currently we have immediate and on-going openings for part-time bar staff and waiter/waitress .  

Depending on the roles, duties will include pre-opening preparations, cleaning and setting tables, serving customers, taking orders, answering phone enquiries, making and serving drinks, taking payments, cleaning and washing after closing etc.

As a very busy restaurant situated in the town centre, we are looking for staff who is:

• self motivated and has a strong sense of responsibility
• a good team player
• highly efficient
• able to handle multi-tasks simultaneously
• has excellent customer service and communication skills.  

We are flexible with the work shifts which may range from 4 to around 9 hours per day, the number of shifts to be offered will depend on your preference and our needs,   Fri, Sat and/or Sunday are the time more shifts can be provided.

Pay ranges from £6.50 – above £8.21, depending on age and experience. We also provide  free Asian meals freshly prepared in the kitchen every day.
