This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring illustrator/artist to contribute to a project that will make a positive impact on women’s safety and access to public parks. Project Title : Training Park Staff and Volunteers to Increase Women’s Safety in the UK’s Parks and Green Spaces Project Overview : The UK's 27,000 parks provide essential green spaces for exercise, relaxation, and socialising. However, 1 in 6 women feel unsafe in parks during daylight hours, with the fear of harassment influencing their behaviour and limiting their visits. In partnership with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust and Keep Britain Tidy, this project aims to train park staff and volunteers across the UK to safely intervene in harassment situations and promote gender-sensitive park management practices.
