When we launched our Strategic Plan in 2018, a core strand was our mission focussed on ‘Innovating in Digital and Service delivery’. This has led to the creation of our Digital Union Upgrade programme, including projects that aim to transform how we interact with students and provide our services. As listening to and engaging with students is at the heart of everything we do, we are creating a board to: Inform the programme’s prioritisation   -   to help shape delivery around what will have the most immediate impact for students Explore the user view   -   what is it like to engage with LUU’s services, what is the digital experience like and where is the potential for improvement? Help capture unmet needs and trends in expectation   -   what are the needs of the ‘digital student’ now and in the future? We’re looking for a range of students that can represent our members and as such, there is no requirement to have technical experience. What’s important is that we find creative and enthusiastic individuals who wish to work with other Advisory Board members, the Student Executive and senior LUU staff to help shape our digital programme. The ideal candidate would be able to commit to a 2 hour meeting, 5 times per academic year with preparation and planning time in between. Lunch will be provided. Whilst the position is unpaid, participants will among the first to be notified about any paid opportunities associated with projects in the programme. These may include testing, acting as a student champion/ambassador, help & support during roll-out phases etc. The main benefits of participating are the knowledge and experience gained by being part of a large digital transformation project and the chance to leave a lasting legacy here at Leeds. Closing date: Midnight Friday 14 February 2020      Informal interviews to be arranged on an ad-hoc basis
