Eden Futures supports people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, enduring mental ill health, autism and associated complex behavioural needs. We have worked for over 25 years with commissioning teams across England, engaging with them to provide innovative, community based supported living services for vulnerable people.
Our service delivery model focuses on increasing independence across a range of accommodation types including support in shared houses, individual apartments or houses and specialist accommodation. We empower individuals to gain or regain skills to help them to live independently and recover from illness in the most unobtrusive and least restrictive manner possible. Providing ‘just enough’ support assists individuals to build on their strengths, develop their abilities and achieve their personal aspirations without an over dependency on support. Every person we support has their own tenancy agreement and front door.
Eden Futures supports more than 650 people across the Midlands and North of England, in more than 150 services . We are opening new services every year, designing services with the individual in mind, building and adapting services around them rather than attempt to fit a person into a service in a ‘one size fits all’ arrangement.
We employ more than 1,100 support workers and ensure that everyone is equipped with the skills necessary to support people living in our services. In our specialist services we develop our teams to understand challenging behaviour that reflects individual requirements and other associated complex needs.
