Boston College is situated close to the town centre of Boston with four campuses in close proximity to each other, as well as a campus in the heart of Spalding.

At the main campus, Rochford, you will find the dedicated sixth form centre and University Centre along with workshops and industry styled classrooms of our vocational courses. Peter Paine Performance Centre is the College's sports centre and Sam Newsom Centre is a dedicated music and performing arts centre. The Ingelow Centre is Boston College's Foundation (Entry/SEND) purpose built building.

Boston College has been rated outstanding across all areas by Ofsted for its social and residential care provision for students.

This fantastic result comes at the same time the College has been ranked as one of the top 5 colleges across the country for learner and employer satisfaction, and a couple of months after celebrating once again a 100% A level pass rate. The College is currently investing over £10 million into its campuses and facilities, providing the highest quality experience for all students.

Over 95% of our students have consistently rated teaching as excellent or good at college for the last 3 years and this is supported by our high quality student experience. Ofsted recognised Boston College’s high standards of provision, performance and quality of teaching during their last inspection and confirmed the College’s ‘Good’ status, making it one of the best performing providers of post-16 education in the area. The report concluded that the College has maintained, and improved, the high standards found at the previous inspection with aspects of performance described as “life-changing”.

Our Learner Services Team have been working with the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust on our innovative ‘Be Brilliant – Building Resilience and Wellbeing’ project which, is about to move into its second year of delivery.

Living in Lincolnshire

The Town of Boston

Lincolnshire is one of the most beautiful counties in England with a wide diversity of landscapes, including several sandy beaches, heathland forests and urban areas such as Lincoln. In addition, there are a number of attractive market towns and villages.

Boston is a traditional English market town in the county of Lincolnshire. It is a small, quiet, rural location with a population of around 60,000 people. Boston is about 120 miles from London. Located on the East Coast, it is an area of rich farmland, and has a fascinating agricultural and maritime history. Boston is a seaport with docks, a fishing fleet, and just over half an hour from the seaside holiday town of Skegness.

The town has a wide variety of shops, sports and entertainment facilities. There are good road and rail links to cities such as Lincoln, Nottingham and Cambridge, with London just two and a half hours away by train.

The town is easy to find your way around either on foot or by bike, and is a safe and pleasant place in which to live and study.
