Business Enterprise Fund is a social enterprise and a Responsible Finance Provider that operates in the alternative finance market. Our mission is providing flexible finance to businesses when they need it most. Since the first loan was made in Bradford in 2004, the organisation has now grown into a Group of Companies that currently lends in Yorkshire and Humber, Tyneside and Tees Valley and the North West.

In addition to lending to established and young businesses from a suite of funds, we are a delivery partner of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Funds microfinance loans and of the government’s Start-up loans scheme.
