EduPal is an educational organisation based in Shenzhen, China. We are currently recruiting for students that are available for between 3 and 12 months meaning it would work well as a Summer program or year abroad option. The program details are as follows;

• Full board accommodation with a Chinese host family, one of whom will speak English.
• 4 hours per week of Mandarin classes. Students are helped in signing up for the HSK Mandarin proficiency testing if they desire.
• Organised cultural events every two weeks and national travel every three weeks.
• No fees- monthly stipend of CNY 1500, airfare and program fees covered by EduPal
• Program certificate with Mandarin learning hours and cultural event hours stated. Internship certificates available in education and teaching.
• Consultancy services available; 24/7 emergency support; all families visited to make sure they fulfil the program obligations.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, we are currently recruiting for students to start the program in 2021. The Chinese borders are closed at the moment but we are accepting applications for when they reopen. There are also additional procedures in place such as upgraded travel insurance for any COVID-19 related costs; a fully funded quarantine period if necessary and evaluation of host families and cities to make sure health and safety standards are being met.
