Counsellors are the first point of contact for our students outside of lessons, responsible for their everyday well-being (on campus and on trips) and for the delivery of their extra-curricular activities. Key responsibilities: Leading activities assigned by the Junior Dean. Supervise students whilst on campus, on coaches and at external excursion sites. Ensure the student experience is of the highest standard. Everyday wellbeing and safety of the students. Organisation of additional ad hoc activities. The role will be based at one of our summer sites in Oxford, Cambridge, London, Ascot or St Andrews. Position Details Working hours will be approximately 40 per week across 6 days. Our courses run in sets of 2 weeks from June to August, with the majority of the courses running from July to Mid-August. There are four, six and ten week contracts available. Mandatory training will take place during the week before student arrivals. There are a small number of Residential Counsellor positions available which encompass additional responsibilities. Person Specification This job would suit someone who displays the following key attributes: A team player who is willing to thoroughly immerse themselves in Oxford Royale Academy's course activities and events; Fluent speaker of English; Able to take initiative; Take direction and follow through tasks to completion; Approachable and personable with the ability to build relationships with people from all walks of life.
